Monitor

Hello, I purchasded a HP Pavillion 15-n031sa last week and I am having problems connecting it to my Bush 42' wide screen LED TV (model no BLED42FHDAE not sure if thats relevant?). My friends laptop connects to my TV fine thats also on windows 8 and my new laptop connects to a different TV in the house so I cannot see what the problem is? I have tried to press the app & p buttons at the same time and click extend but that doesn't do anything. Any suggestions would be apreciated as I have used up my limited technical knowledge, thanks. Please let me know it you require additional assistance. Would you also provide the connection type you are using. HI ocarole2, Thank you for your response.

When I run haspdinst on win10 (version 7.32.52580.1 - the latest as far as I know), it fails. The same thing happens using HaspUserSetup.exe I get 'Unable. Sentinel system driver 7.5.1 download.
