Hi guys, I've got the full range of the Abbey road drums collection that I've picked up as and when over the years, and so does a friend, although I think he got Komplete ultimate 9 with them in. I've just been sent a logic session to open up, and weirdly 70s drums is crashing the loading process. Firstly, it says it is looking for 70s drummer - where as I have 70s drums.

On closer inspection in my own library I seem to have: 50s Drummer 60s Drums (Got on its own) 60s Drummer (came with k9) 70s Drums 80s Drums Modern Drums Vintage Drummer Are there any differences between the two? The background icon says the correct name (drums/drummer) but it seems odd that it wouldn't recognise the drums/drummer thing if they are the same library. I'm guessing the 'drums' libraries are much older than the 'drummer' ones. Re the error - a missing samples kontakt message turns up and if you press anything other than abort it will crash.

Not a massive deal, but a bit of a pain since I don't know what particular sample that one should be now. Cheers, Jonik. My mistake, the free upgrade didn't happen via Service Centre. I just looked in my emails, and they emailed me the free upgrade download link and serial number back in January 2012.

Check the email account you used to register with Native Instruments for emails received around that time. If that doesn't turn up anything, you could try contacting Native Instruments support. I think mk282 is correct, you should be able to redirect your Drums library back to its sample folder. However, another issue you may encounter is that the Drummer series offers a range of different MIDI mapping options. If your friend was using one that is different to the original drums library then it could trigger different samples to the ones they intended - eg they might have intended a high tom, but instead you get a crash hit.
